SPECIAL MARE DISPERSAL |
|
|
It is with great sadness that we are announcing that we are going to have to sell all of our mares, both broodmares and young mares. These mares have treated us very well for many years. We have always aggressively culled and selected for several generations of horses so, these are the ones we intended to keep forever. We have mares that we are going to sell that we thought would live with us until they were retired for old age. Instead, it is we who are going to have to retire from breeding. We are going to attempt to keep taking out trail riders and will ride the young horses that people do not buy. They are all for sale. We would sell our stallions, every mare (except our 2 old crippled cutting bred mares) and every other horse on the place. Most of the mares listed below have never been priced before. We will entertain offers and would set up package deals on groups of horses. It's been a grand run but we just can't keep up with all of the work any more. |

1-X) Gunner Babe - 2001 Gray Mare - Sire: Guns Of Marietta by PLAYGUN (NCHA Leading sire) Dam: Bay Elegance, AQHA point earner in Reining and Working Cowhorse. Her sire was my old Foundation Sire, AQHA Champion DOTY'S SOCKS JR - He had 239 AQHA points in 10 events. He was a Superior Halter and Western Pleasure horse as well as an NCHA Cutting Champion. Bay Elegance was his last daughter as well as the dam of Classical Silver, our Champion Stallion that sold to Mexico and several other outstanding performers. GUNNER BABE is an absolutely gorgeous and very correct big gray mare. She is 15 hands, weighs 1200#, is a very gentle natured 'people lover'. She is pretty enough and has good enough conformation to be a top show mare at the Foundation Shows and would hold her own in AQHA competition. She was lightly started under saddle and since we knew we were going to keep her, she was not trained any further, so we are just selling her as 'un-trained'. She is extremely gentle to catch and handle. She always leaves the herd and comes to us out in the pasture. She is in foal to CALL HIM THE FLASH for an April, 2008 foal. This foal is eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund. I will post photos as soon as I can get them. $5000.00 with a gorgeous sorrel filly at her side and bred back to Call Him The Flash |

Classy Lena Silver - 2003 Gray Mare - Sire:
Royal
Lena Peppy, Peppy San Badger son, NCHA money earner whose dam is a
Doc O'Lena daughter, Second dam by Royal King. He is a 7/8 brother in blood to
Peptoboonsmal and he is the sire of Superior Heading and Heeling horse, Sir
Royal Lola who qualified for the 2005 and 2007 World Championship Quarter Horse
Shows. Dam: Classical Zanny, finished cow horse and FQHR
and NFQHA winning show mare that has been exported to the UK.
This is an absolutely gorgeous show filly that could win in any of the Foundation shows or in the UK or Europe. She is 15 hands, has a nice head and a huge hip, absolutely correct legs and everything in between. You couldn't find a prettier or more stunning young mare anywhere. She is gentle and is a very solid trail horse. She will make a super cow horse and all around horse that is drop dead gorgeous. Really deserves a show home and is the kind you can develop an entire program around. The snapshots don't do her justice. If I had not gotten hurt in 2005, I would have shown her. I have been riding her on the trails and in the pasture. She is started on cattle. She really rides nice. We would breed her free of charge to either of our stallions for a 2009 foal. If we were going to continuing breeding, we were going to breed her to 'Flash". We will now continue to ride her unless someone else want to purchase her 'in foal'. She would be an ideal mare to export to Europe or the UK. $5,500.00 |

Drifters Tonya - 2001
Dun Mare - Sire: War Chiefs
Pride aka DRIFTER
Dam: Zans Tonya, a great Zann Parr Bar grandaughter that was a great
Heading and Healing and calf roping horse. She has produced USTRC
roping horses, a 10 time Grand Champion mare (Classical Zanny) that is now
in the UK, a daughter, Driftin Poco Zan a full sister to this mare, now in
North Wales.
Tonya is a big good looking mare that was well broke to ride and trail ridden a lot before we bred her. She has had a couple of very good foals by Call Him The Flash including a gorgeous dun filly last year. She is going to have an April, 2008 foal by Flash again this spring. For Sale for a very reasonable $2500.00.. Her 2008 colt is weaned and ready to sell. He is beautiful and is eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund. He is good enough to be a stud prospect, but we will cut him as soon as it cools off. $1500.00. Her Yearling filly (pictured below) is also for sale for $2000.00. She is show quality |

Dayna Higgins - 2000
Palomino Mare - Sire:
Doctor Higgins NCHA money earner and sire by Docs Jay Jay.
Dam: Doc Bar and Hollywood Gold mare. This is an absolutely
gorgeous golden palomino mare. She is very pretty and very
correct. She is not a big mare, but is very well made.
She is green broke and was ridden some last summer. Since Pete was waiting on Open Heart surgery, she was not ridden as much as we would have liked. She is an extreme athlete - so quick she is hard to ride. When she stops, she rounds her back and throws her hind end up underneath her so far she is scary. She is one of the deepest, hardest stoppers we have ever owned. Her foal by Flash should be a real show reining or cowhorse prospect and will be eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund. SOLD |

5-X) Lenas
Gift - 2003 Sorrel Filly
- Sire: Ima Little Peppier by Peppy San
Badger out of Docalady, leading dam by DOC BAR. Dam: Lenas
Beauty Bar by DOC O'LENA. Lenas Beauty Bar was 3rd and the NCHA Super
Stakes and won over $40,000.00. This gorgeous filly is perfect in
every way. She is a 3/4 sister to Bucki James'
"Peppiers Little Lena", the 1999 filly that just split 5/6 at the 2003 Super
Stakes winning over $28,000.00. She is also qualified for the AQHA World
Championship Show in Amateur Cutting. Wesley Galyean showed Meradas Quick Peppier in the 2003 NCHA Futurity in Ft. Worth.
He placed 8th in the Non-Pro finals and won over $34,000.00. Ima Little Peppier's first colt
to sell at an NCHA sale brought $26,000.00. Even though his
owner died, (Joe Ayers) his remaining foals have earned over $200,000
since his death.
This filly's sire, Ima Little Peppier, is also the sire of Playboys Peppier Ego. You can see more information on this 'Black Type' family by 'clicking' Docalady or Playboys Peppier Ego. This filly has matured into a real beauty. Her is an opportunity to own a Maternal Granddaughter of Doc O'Lena out a mare that earned $40,000.00 herself. Reasonably priced at $5000.00 |
