1-A}  DRY  FRECKLES  BOON -- 2000 BAY GELDING -- SIRE:  Freckles Boon, NCHA money earner by Freckles Playboy out of a Boon Bar mare.   Dam:  Grandaughter of Dry Doc.

We have owned this 15.2 hand gelding for 6 years.  He has been Pete's personal mount this whole time.  He has roped and doctored cattle in the pasture and been used to do all kinds of ranch work.  He is REALLY COWEY!  I mean you will have to grab the horn to stay with him.  He had some cutting training before we got him and has done a lot of sorting and working in the corral..  He would make a WORLD CLASS penning or sorting horse.  He is not for a beginning rider.  He can be a tiny bit cold backed after a long lay-off.  But, he is so well trained, an experienced rider can turn him around a couple times, back him up a few steps and he will ride right off.  He is not a bronc, but could intimidate a green rider.  He is well-mannered and gentle, easy to catch and easy to get along with.  This good looking gelding is really stout -- a real powerhouse.  He is 100% sound and ready to go do a day's work or go to a penning.  He is a really hard stopper and has a nice turn-around.   He will slide a pretty good ways, has a nice lead change and would go to AQHA Ranch Versatility classes with very little additional work.  He is pictured in his winter clothes, but he is a really good looking and very correct horse.

He would not be for sale if Pete had not had open heart surgery last year.  He still rides very little and is definitely over-mounted now on this gelding now.  Cheri has been taking out trail rides with him, but needs to be riding the young colts for that.  He just needs a real job.   If you are looking for a good looking ranch gelding, he is the real deal.  $6,000.00

2-A}  DIAMOND- 6 year old sorrel gelding sired by a son of Zan's Diamond Sun.  His dam is an old Foundation bred mare.

This is a really good looking, stout, thick made 15 hand gelding.  He is absolutely sound and ready to go. He has been used as a ranch gelding for 3 years.  He has doctored cattle in the pasture, drug cattle into a stock trailer, sorted and penned cattle and has even been used by a ranch cowboy at a couple of ranch rodeos.  He has absolutely NO buck in him and is gentle to ride.  We have used him for a trail horse and to check pastures for more than 8 months.  He is safe and solid to ride, even after a long turn-out.

He is quick footed, handy and really fast.   He will do any job on a ranch or would easily make the transition to an arena horse.  He pulls hard off of the horn and will run  and rate to the cattle he is tracking.   Watch for photos.   $5500.00
