PLAYBOYS PEPPIER EGO - 2001 GRAY - 14.3
1/2 hands - is very good looking young
dappled gray stallion with an impeccable
pedigree. His four grand parents include three
great horses on the all-time leading sire and dam lists:
His
paternal grandsire is the great PEPPY SAN BADGER. His
paternal grandmother is the great Doc Bar daughter, DOCALADY, full
sister to Doc's Wrangler and dam of Some Kinda Playgirl (by Freckles
Playboy). She produced Some Kinda Memories, NCHA Futurity
winner of over $360,000.00. ('Click' on DOCALADY
for a complete rundown catalog style on her family.
Docalady is the dam of NCHA money earners of over $447,000.00, putting
her on the AQHA and NCHA all time leading dam's list, (most of
them by Freckles Playboy - what a proven cross). 'Peppy's'
dam just happens to be a producing daughter of the All Time great sire, FRECKLES
PLAYBOY. ALL OF THESE GREAT HORSES WILL BE ON
EVERY FOAL'S PAPERS!!! His complete pedigree can be seen
by clicking on the pedigree link. Peppy's dam is also the
producer of Toyasblast Ofthepast, AQHA Superior barrel horse with
over 100 AQHA Barrel Racing Points. He also qualified for the
2003 and 2004 AQHA World Championship
Shows in barrel racing.
Ima Little
Peppier, his sire, recently had his first 2 foals go to NCHA Aged
Events - Peppiers Little Lena, owned and ridden by Bucki James,
Purcell, OK split a 5/6th in the 2003 Non-Pro Super Stakes, winning
over $28,000.00. She also qualified for the 2003 AQHA World
Show in Amateur Cutting. In December, 2003, Wesley
Galyean showed Meradas Quick Peppier to 8th place in the Non-Pro
finals at the NCHA Futurity to earn $48,879.00. Ima Little
Peppier's first foal
to go to an NCHA sale brought $26,000.00! He has already sired
5 AQHA ROM foals and winners of over $125,000.00!!!
We purchased 'PEPPY' for
several reasons, but the main one is that for a horse of his
tremendous cutting breeding, he has the heaviest bone we have ever seen
and he is big enough to be a REAL horse. He has a cute little lead with a big kind eye,
deep heart girth, good muscle and really low set knees and hocks.
His legs and feet are perfectly straight and correct. He
stands 14.3 1/2 hands. He is recovering from a head
injury (paralysis of one side of his head) from an accident that
happened in pasture before we purchased him. That is the only reason we
were able to acquire him. He settled EVERY mare
covered in 2003 and 2004. He is very quiet and easy to
handle. He has recovered from about 90% of his paralysis
and Pete has ridden him. He is really gentle natured (he
has to be for Pete to ride him).
His first babies arrived in
2004 and 2005. They arrived all over Oklahoma and Texas, 3
are in California, 2 in Texas, 3 in the United Kingdom. Most are gray (all of the
ones we have seen except one are gray), they have good dispositions and
exceptional conformation, athletic ability and quickness.
We have several well-bred mares for
sale in foal to Peppier for 2006. Remember, every one of their
foals will have Peppy San Badger, Freckles Playboy and the great
Docolady on their papers. They are listed on the 'Mare'
pages.
