MARES AND BROODMARES

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Because of these circumstances, we have been selling mares that would have otherwise never been offered for sale.   We have sold our Doc O'Lena daughter, Playgun daughter, and many of our Foundation bred mares that had been in the family for 3 and 4 generations.

1-B} Gunner Babe - 2001 Gray Mare - Sire:  Guns Of Marietta by PLAYGUN (NCHA Leading sire)  Dam: Bay Elegance, AQHA point earner in Reining and Working Cowhorse.  Her sire was my old Foundation Sire, AQHA Champion DOTY'S SOCKS JR - He had 239 AQHA points in 10 events.  He was a Superior Halter and Western Pleasure horse as well as an NCHA Cutting Champion.  Bay Elegance was his last daughter as well as the dam of Classical Silver, our Champion Stallion that sold to Mexico and several other outstanding performers.

Gunner Babe is an absolutely gorgeous and very correct big gray mare.  She is 15 hands, weighs 1200#, is a very gentle natured 'people lover'.  She is pretty enough and has good enough conformation to be a top show mare at the Foundation Shows and would hold her own in AQHA competition.

She was lightly started under saddle and since we knew we were going to keep her, she was not trained any further, so we are just selling her as 'un-trained'.  She is extremely gentle to catch and handle.  She always leaves the herd and comes to us out in the pasture.  She is in foal to CALL HIM THE FLASH for an April, 2008 foal.  This foal is eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund.  I will post photos as soon as I can get them.   $5000.00 with a gorgeous sorrel filly at her side and bred back to Call Him The Flash

2-B} Drifters Tonya --2001 Dun Mare --  Sire: Classical Silver. Classical Zanny -- Outstanding show mare that has since been exported to the UK.  Her full sister has also been exported to Wales

Tonya was trail ridden for several years before she was bred.   Her 2007 filly, Flashy Drifter, is gorgeous and is now an outstanding trail horse herself.   Her 3 year old gelding is just being started and acts like he was 'born broke'.  He is VERY gentle natured.  Tonya is in foal to Call Him The Flash again for 2012.  She is sound, pretty, foals on pasture and raises big, stout babies.  You can go back to riding her or keep breeding her after her 2012 foal arrives.   She is offered for a very reasonable $2500.00

I will have to find photos or take some of her

3-B} Classy Good Girl -- 2097 Gray Mare -- Sire: Classical Silver.  Dam:  Jackies Good Girl, granddaughter of Doc Clabber by Doc Bar and Padre Sonoita by Dick Sonoita. ‘Jackie’ was a cutting money winner and used for several years as a top ranch, sorting and roping mare.

This beautiful 15.1 hand mare is very well trained.  As a 2 and 3 year old she was trail ridden extensively by our son.     Good Girl has been one of our best producers.  Her foals all really ride and 'Cow'.   Look at her foals below and you can see what kind of producer she is.   The last 3 years we have used her in our trail rides.  She can sit in pasture for 3 months, we saddle her up and she just rides of like she was used yesterday.   She is 100% solid, but has a big motor.   She carries a BIG rider really well.  Only $2500.00

4-B}   CLASSICAL ZANNY – 1997 GRAY Mare – Sire: Classical Silver.  Dam:  Zans Tonya,  granddaughter of Zan Parr Bar out of a King and Jet Deck / Sugar Bars mare.   Classical Zanny has been sold and was just delivered to the UK.     SOLD

5-B}  Hickalena - 1997 Bay Mare.  Sire:  Docs Hickory.  Dam: Alethalena By Frackles Plauboy out of Leneatte, NCHA Futurity winner and leading dam.  Hickalena's dam is a full sister to Leading sires, Freckles Merada & Young Gun and leading producers, Playboys Mom, Playboys Samantha, Shesa Playgirl and 8 other leading producers.   Lenaette and her famous daughters have produced the winners of over $ 2 million dollars.  Acomplete run'down on her family is available by following the following link.   Hickalena's pedigree.

This georgeous daughter of Hickory is being bred (by embryo transfer) in 2008 to Sweet Lil Pepto, NCHA winners of $2000,000.00.  Her foal will be for sale.

7-B}  DAYNA HIGGINS -  2000 PALOMINO MARE - Sire: Doctor Higgins NCHA money earner and sire by Docs Jay Jay.  Dam:  Doc Bar and Hollywood Gold mare.  This is an absolutely gorgeous golden palomino mare.  She is very pretty and very correct.  She is not a big mare, but is very well made.

She is green broke and was ridden some last summer.  Since Pete was waiting on Open Heart surgery, she was not ridden as much as we would have liked.   She is an extreme athlete - so quick she is hard to ride.  When she stops, she rounds her back and throws her hind end up underneath her so far she is scary.  She is one of the deepest, hardest stoppers we have ever owned.  Her foal by Flash should be a real show reining or cowhorse prospect and will be eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund.  SOLD
