ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Cheri was critically injured in February, 2005.  She is back riding now on a limited basis.  Because of these circumstances, we have been selling mares that would have otherwise never been offered for sale.   We have sold our Doc O'Lena daughter, Playgun daughter, and many of our Foundation bred mares that had been in the family for 3 and 4 generations.

1-B} DEMI AUTOMATIC - 1998 Bay Filly - Sire: PLAYGUN -NCHA earner of over $185,000.00 and the sire of earners of over $2,500,000.00.  Dam: DEMIDOC - Earner of over $100,000.00, winner of the 1983 NCHA NP Derby and the dam of NCHA winners of over $170,000.00. Demidoc is also a full sister to Docidoc, Earner of over $165,000.00 (Both by Doc's Prescription.)  Demidoc is one of the NCHA 'ELITE'.   This filly is a full sister to CL Winchester, NCHA NP Futurity finalist (split 4/5)  in 2000.  He is one of Playgun's highest money earners.   This MARE  had a license to be a $100,000.00 horse.   Instead, when Pete had his heart attach 4 years ago, she was taken out of training and bred to Haidas Little Pep.  Demi has been SOLD.

She had a 2004 filly by SNAPPIN CAT, his son of leading sire, HIGHBROW CAT (2003 leading sire of 3 year olds including the 2003 NCHA Futurity Champion and leading sire of 2004 NCHA Futurity money earners).    SNAPPIN CAT won over $17,000.00 NCHA by winning and placing at several futurities including Reserve Champion at the Southern Futurity.  She is available for $3500.00.

4-B}  DAYNA HIGGINS -  2000 PALOMINO MARE - Sire: Doctor Higgins NCHA money earner and sire by Docs Jay Jay.  Dam:  Doc Bar and Hollywood Gold mare.  This is an absolutely gorgeous golden palomino mare.  She is very pretty and very correct.  She is not a big mare, but is very well made.  

She is green broke and was ridden some last summer.  Since Pete was waiting on Open Heart surgery, she was not ridden as much as we would have liked.   She is an extreme athlete - so quick she is hard to ride.  When she stops, she rounds her back and throws her hind end up underneath her so far she is scary.  She is one of the deepest, hardest stoppers we have ever owned.  Her foal by Flash should be a real show reining or cowhorse prospect and will be eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund.  $3000.00 if purchased before she foals.

Dayna Higgins - Sept. 2007

This georgeous daughter of Hickory is being bred (by embryo transfer) in 2008 to Sweet Lil Pepto, NCHA winners of $2000,000.00.  Her foal will be for sale.

This is a really good looking big stout mare that is very well trained and can be ridden by anyone.  She stands 15.2 and weighs 1250#.   She has been shown a little in the FQHR shows and has always placed but is not a really finished show mare.  She has spent most of her time on the ranch and on the trail.  Everybody has trail ridden her and she is absolutely solid.  She raised the most beautiful grulla burning gray filly you have ever seen by Drifter and is bread back to him for March, 2006.  She is ready to put back in the trail string now (waiting for the farrier) where she earns her keep 6 months out of the year.  Started on cattle and would still make a great heading horse or show horse.  Really smooth rider.  This is another mare that would never be offered under different circumstances.   Her 2005 filly was foaled grullo and is turning gray.   She is a top show filly and is eligible for the Oklahoma FQHR Stakes program.   She foaled a 2006 Red Dun Stud colt.     She just had a gorgeous gray filly by Drifter.  I believe this is her best foal and will be a show stopper.  She is for sale.    Zan has been leased as a recipient mare for 2008.  She may be available at a later date.

7-B}  CLASSY GOOD GIRL - 1997 GRAY MARE .  Sire: Classical Silver. (reference sire)  Dam:  Jackies Good Girl, granddaughter of Doc Clabber by Doc Bar and Padre Sonoita by Dick Sonoita. ‘Jackie’ was a cutting money winner and used for several years as a top ranch and roping mare.   This beautiful young 15.1 hand mare was very well trained as a 2 year old and was trail ridden extensively by our son.  Her gray stud colt  in 2000 was exceptional and has been sold.   She outdid herself in 2001 with a spectacular dun filly (a real show quality filly that has been sold to Kathy Leitner of Kingfisher, OK and will be shown).  Her 2002 gray colt by Drifter is also show quality and has been gelded.  This young mare is Incentive Fund nominated  and she is 100% sound.   She had a gorgeous 2003 sorrel stud colt by Flash.     Good Girl is one of our best producers.  Her foals all really ride and 'Cow'.   Look at all four of her foals below and you can see what kind of producer she is.   Mare had a gorgeous stud colt by Flash in 2003 (pictured on the right) sold.    She had a really gorgeous gray stud colt by Flash in 2004 (for sale).    Good Girl had a gorgeous 2005 Palomino filly by a son of Dunit It With A Twist )for sale for $3500.00.)  This mare just had a 2007 gray colt by Drifter.  He is for sale.  Good Girl has also been leased as a recipient mare for 2008.  She may be available at a later date.
